Year 3 – Italy and the Netherlands
In the first semester of Year 3, your journey takes you to Italy. There, the staff of the Università Cattolica, del Sacro Cuore will do their best to satisfy your hunger for knowledge of various production technologies, authenticity, food law and certification. Not only can you enjoy some particularly delicious food, you will also gain the experience you need to contribute to the improvement of global food systems. Back in the Netherlands, in the second semester, you will gain hands-on experience by running your own student business, with professional assistance of course. At the same time, you will do an internship at a company in a country of your choice, where you focus on management (HRM, leadership, finance, marketing), food preservation, pricing, politics and research methods.
